Baptisms

Baptism is a milestone in a Christian’s journey of faith – a commitment to following Jesus Christ. People are usually baptised in the church of the parish where they live. Many are baptised as children, with promises about their Christian upbringing made by parents and godparents.

Weddings

People who choose a church wedding are usually married in the church of the parish where one of them lives.

Arrangements for funerals are usually made through a funeral director.
