Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus Christ.
What started out as an invitation from the Archbishops’ of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.
Wadhurst Church is once again taking part in Thy Kingdom Come.
It will run from May 24th-June 4th and we will have open access Prayer Stations set up in the church for use during daylight hours.
We are also organising a 48 hour period of 24-7 Prayer from 6pm, Friday 26th May to 6pm, Sunday 28th May. We want people to sign up for a one hour slot of prayer to cover the whole 48 hour period.
If you would like to take part, email Claire Lonsdale and she can assign you a slot.
If you’re looking for some inspiration, the Thy Kingdom Come website has some amazing resources for prayer.
These include helpful resource links for individual times for prayer and prepared materials for people to pray each day of the event. You can find another resource for daily reflections here, while this great site also provides inspiration if you’re looking for things to pray about.
And if you want to get your children involved, there are some lovely resources for praying as a family.
