we value children and young people very highly
At Wadhurst Parish Church, we value children and young people very highly.
We have many dedicated leaders and helpers who provide a full range of activities:
- No Events Available
Everyone starts the 10am worship together before the children age 3 and over go to Sunday J-Club in Carillon Cottage. Children under 3 stay in the church for their activities in the creche.
Carillon Cottage is a comfortable and safe environment for all their activities.
Children go into different groups, where they are taught the Bible and Christian values in a way appropriate to their age.
We aim to make the activities fun and exciting.
The children then re-join their parents for the final part of the service.
Get in the Picture
We are a local pre-school parent and toddler group run by Wadhurst Parish Church.
Our aim is to be a relaxed and welcoming group, where any parents and carers, and children can feel valued.
We believe that routine is very important with children, so we try to maintain a level of structure while building a flexible and fun environment.
As we are a church group, we use bible stories during story time, and some songs have a Christian theme.
J Club takes place on Tuesdays from 3.45 – 5 pm in Wadhurst Church. There are snacks, games, Bible stories, craft and we always have a great time.
Follow this link to the online registration form. Or pick up a paper form in church with our display, or ask for a form at the school office. Paper forms can be posted into Carillon Cottage on the high street. If we have your form before the Tuesday of J Club, you can join the walking bus from Wadhurst Primary; parents/carers can collect children from the church at 5pm.
